In these solo dances, one person dances and the other people stand around encouraging the dancer through clapping. It’s a shame really, because if you’re not very close to people at weddings, you won’t get the chance to dance. You usually just sit and watch. It’s pretty rare for someone you don’t know to ask you do dance because there are just so many people.
